Tax Reform Considerations for 2018

In the most significant tax policy change since 1986, Congress has passed, and the President has signed, comprehensive tax reform legislation. The new legislation reduces rates and provides other tax relief for corporations, pass-through entities, and individuals. What should you know?

Our session will address key provisions of the new law and provide practical considerations to help you navigate changes affecting your company. Presentations will include:

  •  An overview of business taxation, financial reporting implications, and how to prepare for changes.
  • The change in international taxation for US multinationals, from repatriation of foreign earnings to significant new base erosion measures and other modifications to existing law.
  • The growing complexity of multi-state taxation and the potential conformity to the new Internal Revenue Code provisions.

Join us and your peers for an interactive session, featuring speakers from the Deloitte Washington National Tax Practice, on the impact of US tax reform for your organization.

John Womack, National Leader, International Tax and Transfer Pricing

Mark Graham, Principal International Tax Services, Washington National Tax

Todd Baker, Detroit Office Tax Managing Partner

Navneet Singh, Detroit Office Managing Director, Business Tax Services

Please plan to stay after the presentation for a reception.
